Arthur Smith Primary Crowned 2026 BICO/NSC Primary Schools Football Champions

Arthur Smith Primary are the 2026 BICO/NSC Primary Schools Football Champions after defeating St. Cyprian’s Boys 2–1 after extra time in a thrilling championship final at the Barbados Football Association (BFA) Technical Centre.

The 2026 BICO/NSC Primary Schools Football Champions were crowned following a dramatic contest that had supporters captivated from the opening whistle to the final moments of extra time. St. Cyprian’s Boys struck first in the opening half through an own goal by Tevon Matthews, giving them an early advantage. Arthur Smith Primary responded before the halftime whistle when Malakai Clarke found the equaliser, ensuring both teams went into the break level at 1–1.

With neither side able to find a winner during regulation time, the championship match was forced into extra time. It was Tevon Matthews who redeemed himself in spectacular fashion, scoring the decisive goal to seal a memorable 2–1 victory and crown Arthur Smith Primary as champions.

Earlier in the day, Milton Lynch Primary secured third place after defeating St. George Primary, rounding off an impressive campaign in this year’s competition.
