The NSC Barbados sports calendar continues to move forward following the conclusion of another exciting National Sports Council Summer Camp.
After several weeks of activity, learning, new friendships and sporting experiences, our campers are preparing to return to the classroom. However, the end of Summer Camp certainly does not mean the end of the action.
One event to look forward to is the Barbados Road Tennis Open, which will once again place the spotlight on Barbados’ indigenous sport and provide an opportunity for players to showcase their skills and compete.
There is also plenty of anticipation surrounding the start of the new school term. With students returning to the classroom, we look forward to the resumption of school sporting competitions and seeing young athletes once again representing their schools, developing their talents and staying active.
The National Sports Council remains committed to creating opportunities for Barbadians of all ages to participate in sport and embrace active lifestyles.
Summer Camp may be over, but there is still plenty to look forward to.
Keep moving. Get active. Go sports!
