The National Sports Council and the sports fraternity has lost a kind soul in Dwight Rouse, former basketball coach and national basketball player. Dwight, who would have turned 67 on July 18, was a kind, helpful, witty and knowledgeable man. He was always ready with an encouraging word or tip, always willing to assist others and an overall good human being. Dwight, you will be missed. Our condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and former charges, with whom he made an indelible mark on their lives and careers. May he rest in peace 🕊️
