National Sports Council Cheerleading Competition 2026 Set for April 4

The National Sports Council Cheerleading Competition 2026 is set to bring excitement, energy and school spirit to the Garfield Sobers Gymnasium on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 4:00 PM

With colourful routines, dynamic stunts and electrifying entertainment, the competition promises to be one of the most exciting youth sporting events on the National Sports Council calendar.

Participating Secondary Schools

Schools competing in the secondary division include:

  • The St. Michael School (Defending Champions)

  • St. George Secondary

  • Queens College

  • The Lodge School

  • Alexandra School

  • Deighton Griffith

  • Lester Vaughn

  • Parkinson Memorial

  • Christ Church Foundation

  • The Ellerslie School

Participating Primary Schools

The primary school division will also feature strong participation from:

  • St. George Primary

  • Eden Lodge Primary

  • Warrens Primary

  • Deacons Primary

  • Christ Church Girls

  • St. Lawrence Primary

  • Blackman & Gollop Primary

These young teams will bring enthusiasm and creativity as they compete for top honours and help build the future of cheerleading across the island.

The competition will feature:
